                         B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.  Graduated June 1999.
                         Coursework includes: Mechatronics, Sensors, Heat transfer, Fluid and Material Mechanics, Failure analysis,
                         Thermosciences Laboratory.

6/96-9/96         University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), Westwood, CA. Course work in Physics.

9/91-6/95         Covina High School, Covina, CA.
 

Work Experience

6/97-11/98        Assistant Designer, AS3 group of the Gravity Probe B Relativity Mission.
                          STANFORD UNIVERSITY / NASA joint project.  Assisted in the design and assembly of
                          translation systems and mounts for optical components.  Assembled and tested electronic devices.
                          Custom built multi-channel cables for analog signals and enclosures for electronic components.
                          Conducted research, ordering and tracking of parts.

4/98-6/98          Intern Design Engineer, Western Digital. Worked on a project to redesign the current
                          clamping system on one of Western Digital's hard drives so that clamping forces would
                          be evenly distributed onto diskmedia.  Utilized SolidDesigner CAD program to produce 3D
                          models.

1/97-6/97          Assistant to the Administrator of the Center for Design Research,  Stanford University.
                          Organized and maintained databases and office files regarding health/safety training records
                          and hazardous chemical disposal. Redesigned out-of date building evacuation plans.
 

Additional Information

    Computer Experience
                           AutoCad 14, SolidDesigner (3-D modeling), Vellum, LABview, Windows 95, Machintosh,
                           Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point,  Photshop, Illustrator.
                           C programming, HTML web page creation.

   Other Technical Skills
                           Familiarity and experience with LABview, oscilloscope, multi-meter, machine shop, soldering, and CAD.

                           Fluent in Spanish: speaking, reading and writing.
